Edwin's day out

Hi All,

I've got another card to share with you today. I wanted to try and combine a couple of challenges and also add another birthday card to my "boys" stack.

I'm trying to get enough cards ready so I've got lots of choice for the year ahead! Also, I'm moving house in about a month and the removal people came round today to survey what they have to move - oh dear, I think my crafty stash gave them a bit of a surprise! They also told me I wont get my stuff for around TWELVE weeks (I'm moving countries, so apparently a boat and a train will be getting involved!) I need to start making more cards so I've got enough to keep sharing whilst I dont have any of my goodies!!

Anywho, on to the card - that's what you're really here for! I followed the sketch over on Just Magnolia and also Magnolia Down Under are asking players to use only Edwin this week.

This is Edwin who should be holding a heart, but I masked the heart part and then took a pinwheel from the lawn fawn set "crusing through life" and gave him that to hold instead. I then drew in a thicker line over the "balloon" string to make the stick. I did have to "improvise" a little arm patch; I'd not quite wiped all of the swirly bit of the balloon string away, so instead I just extended into a full on arm patch!
