Autumn colours

Hi All,

Still not feeling great so crafting has been a bit slow! Was determined to get this up this evening before going to bed! I've made this for the DT call over on Creative Inspirations. Hope they like it, cross fingers and toes please! I've used the sketch from Friday's Sketchers

Here's the full card

And a close up of Nora and the her stickled wings

Here's how I made it:
Image
Image is Nora in Wind Swiss pixies from cc designs.
Stamped with memento tuxedo black and coloured with copics.
I used stickles in cinnamon to colour her wings.

Papers
All basic grey. From the nook and pantry pad and ambrosia pad

Finishing Touches
Image and matted paper cut out using long ovals nesties.
Image edged with tea dye distress ink and my edge inking tool.
Flowers cut out using MS hydrangea punch
Branches are MS punch too
Pearls, ribbon and lace are from stash
MS border quilted edge border punch used.

So the challenges it works for are:
Friday Sketchers - I used their sketch
Creative Inspirations - Autumn colours for a DT Call
Craft Your Days Away - Autumn Doodles
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Stamp Friends - Autumn
Paper Sundaes - Fall(Autumn) or Halloween
Fun with Shapes and More - Lace

Night night all! xx

Window Wishes

Hi All,

Right - getting a start on these birthday cards, I should have a couple to show you over the next few days, starting with this one. The window colour has come out much more yellow that it looks in real life - I just cant seem to get the lighting right on this one but hopefully you can use a bit of imagination!

and here's the inside

Stamps:
Sentiment is from Stampin' Up and stamped in memento lilac posies. Edges are inked using inkessentials foam pad tool and the lilac posies again (I've previously only ever used distress inks for this technique - turns out it works with memento inks too!)
Image is from Sugarnellie, Leanne Ellis - Day Dreamer. Stamped in memento tuxedo black. Edges are inked using inkessentials foam pad tool and spiced marmalade tim holtz distress inks.

Papers & Cardstock
Papers are from Echo Park a walk in the park set.
Card is from stash

Finishing touches
Butterflies punched using MS punch and inked in memento lilac posies.
Flower is hydrangea punch by MS
Branches are MS punch too.
Ribbon and pearls are from stash.
I also used stickles on the orange and blue birds in the image and doodlebug sugar dust for the purple one.

Here's a close up of image...

A close up of the flowers

And a shot to show the dimensions...

I'd like to enter it into these challenges...
Sugarbowl - I used their sketch and they also wanted pearls
Pocket Full of Posies - Floral Fantasy (flowers on the background and the flower, and she's a day dreamer - very fantastical!)
A Spoon Full of Sugar -Animals (I've got the birds in the image)
Craft Your Days Away - Girly 'n' Glitter (Glittery birds and you couldn't give this card to a boy!)
Crafty Emma's Store (CES) - Floral Frenzy (flowery background and flower in the foreground)
Hope you like it! Decided I should finally get on and post it!
I have spent most of the night trying out a new technique - which hopefully I'll show you on a card later tonight - it took wayyyy too long - I think I must've been doing it wrong!

See you all later! xxx
