Sparkle and Shine

Hi All,

Here's a card I've made for my friends birthday in a couple of weeks. One of our favourite things to do when we were children was watch Cinderella, and the book was quite the favourite too, so I thought this would make a nice card for her.

To show off the sparkles!

Tilda up close

Here's how I made her:
Image & Sentiment
Princess is Tilda Princess from Fairytale Collection from Magnolia. Stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics
Ticket is from Whimsy stamps. Stamped with Memento Grape Jelly. Sentiment is from the Elzybells Swirly Greetings Set, stamped in Memento Lilac Posies.

Papers
Design papers are from Basic Grey Kioshi Pack

Finishing Touces
Image, papers and sentiment are all inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dusty Concord and the inkessentials foam pad tool.
Flowers are from Prima.
Roses are from Dies to Die for For.
Card candy is from craftwork cards.
Card Candy and Roses are "stickled" with Lavendar Stickles
Ticket, tilda's gloves and crown are "stickled" with Diamond Stickles
Lace was white and I covered it with Tim Holtz distress ink dusty concord and then memento lilac posies.
I added gems on to the back paper too - these are from my stash.

Phew! Lots of work put into this one! Hope you like it xx

Peachy Keen!

Hi All,

Got to run - late going out for the evening! But here's my take on the Just Magnolia Sketch for this week!

Close up of tilda...her face isnt that orange in real life, my camera seems to be misbehaving with colours at the minute!

I think it needs something more, probably some glitter or gems but I just cant figure it out at the minute!

Here are the challenges it works for:
Just Magnolia - Sketch
Crafty Sentiments - Use a Border Punch
Allsorts - Clean and Simple
Wee Memories - Clean and Simple
Pear Tree Designs - Celebration

I missed the deadline for Frosted Designs who had a theme of Peaches and Cream!

Hope you like it xx
