Morning All,
Am writing this late at night and posting in the morning - fingers crossed it works!
I've made this card for yet another lovely life that's come into the world! I'm quite pleased with how its turned out - I have also made myself promise not to by any more patterned papers until post christmas! It took me hours to pick the best papers, which I'm putting down to me just having too many, but I also love them all and want more hmmm.
Here's a front on shot...
Here's a close-up of the image
Stamps:
Image is stampavie by Tina Wenke and coloured with copics
Sentiment is by personal impressions and stamped using bahama blue memento ink.
Papers & Card:
Dotty Paper is K&Company for the boys paper bad
The yellow stripy is K&Company daffodil paper pad
Image and sentiment have both been cut out using nesties and cuttlebug.
Finishing touches:
I've inked up the edges using inking tool and distressed inks. On the blue card, blue paper and sentiment I used broken china and on the stamped image I used shabby shutters.
Candy dots are by craftwork cards.
I also used sky blue stickles to glitter the edge of the card the image is back onto.
It also works for these challenges:
Stamp Something - Something Cute
Daring Card Makers - Sapphires (I've used lots of blues and sparkles, both of which remind me of sapphire)
Truly Scrumptious - I've used their sketch
Raise the Bar - Make a card based on your blog (blog is called crafty cutesie, this image is too cute and I imagine the little critters around the basket have helped to construct and craft it!)
Pile It On - Pile On the Layers
Wee Memories - Wee Ones (card's for a baby)
Hope you like it and the new mum and dad do too! xxxx
